Outpatient Veterinary Ultrasound Services
The Focal Zone, in collaboration with OVRA, is pleased to announce a veterinary ultrasound outpatient service, to provide additional opportunity to schedule this valuable diagnostic resource for your patients and clientele.
The ultrasound images will be acquired by Tomie Timon, of The Focal Zone, at the OVRA facility in Springfield, OR.
The ultrasound images will be interpreted by a board certified veterinary radiologist or cardiologist, and the report will be made available to the family veterinarian by 6pm on the same day the exam is performed.
This service will be available by referral only, from the family veterinarian, and will not be scheduled through the internal medicine or surgery services.
The client cost for the outpatient abdominal or thoracic ultrasound service is $275, which includes patient sedation, if clinically indicated. Tuesday morning appointments are currently available.
