Welcome Amanda Lacey!

Eric and I are very pleased to welcome Amanda Lacey to the The Focal Zone team. Amanda joins us as a sonographer and will be performing ultrasound exams in the Willamette Valley from Albany to Cottage Grove. Graduating Valedictorian from the Linn-Benton Community College as a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2012, she has worked in both general and specialty practices. Amanda became familiar with the The Focal Zone business by assisting Tomie with the outpatient ultrasound clinic housed within the Oregon Veterinary Referral Associates practice in Springfield.

Amanda is dedicated and says: “I am passionate about patient care and want to make an impact in my patient’s lives daily, and have come to love internal medicine and using sonography as a diagnostic tool to facilitate a pet’s diagnosis and treatment..”
Amanda currently lives in Albany, Oregon with her partner Jake, son Xander, and her three “littles”, Maestro and Pella the chihuahua’s, and Kickers the crazy cat.  Outside of work, she enjoys music, art, traveling and trying new and fun things with her family.  Amanda and her family especially love the beach!
